Gov. Rick Scott on Thursday ordered that flags be flown at half-staff Friday and Saturday in Orange County for two law-enforcement officers killed Monday.
Scott ordered that U.S. and state of Florida flags be flown at half-staff at the Orange County Courthouse, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Orlando City Hall in honor of Orlando police Master Sgt. Debra Clayton and Orange County Deputy Norman Lewis.
Clayton was fatally shot in the line of duty Monday, and Lewis died in a traffic accident while searching for the shooter.
